Overview
The successful applicants will be involved in early rehabilitation and discharge planning within a range of different conditions; therefore should have an awareness of rehabilitation and discharge planning.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to early rehabilitation and discharge planning across various conditions.
- Support and develop the Band 3 Therapy Technical Instructors and apprenticeship staff within the therapies department.
- Provide training to assist with professional development and leadership responsibilities.
- Work as part of the weekend, late shift and bank holiday rotas as part of a 7 day shift system.
Supervision and development
Supervision will be provided by the Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist and continuous professional development is supported through appraisal and internal and external training.
Working pattern
The Therapy Services operate within a 7 day shift system; post holders will be required to work weekend, late shift and bank holiday rotas.
