The successful applicant will be responsible for pre-registration experience within our future workforce ensuring an inspiring and effective learning environment for all students and associates, leading by example and empowering the workforce to achieve excellence.

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • NMC Registration
  • Relevant degree or evidence of working towards
  • Mentorship or equivalent
  • Recognised critical care course

Desirable criteria

  • Educated to Masters level
  • Post registration management and leadership

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Minimum of 4 years post registration experience in Critical care
  • 2 years in a leadership role at Band 6 within Critical Care
  • Significant and proven clinical and management skills within a relevant field Evidence of effective multi-disciplinary working
  • Previous experience in teaching, mentoring and assessment

Desirable criteria

  • Evidence of Quality improvement
  • Experience of inter-professional teaching and learning in the clinical environment including undergraduate medical education
