Overview

The post holder will provide an effective administrative service to the Medical Workforce Department which will include supporting the Medical Workforce Officers and Revalidation team.

As a Medical Recruitment & Onboarding Administrator the post holder will be required to work on their own initiative and have the ability to answer the many varied queries without support (advice may be sought from the Medical Workforce Officer / Revalidation Officer and Head of Medical Workforce as and when required) and demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a key member of the team. The post holder will be expected to prioritise work and meet conflicting deadlines in order to meet the requirements of the post.

To offer support to and liaise with the Head of Medical Workforce and Officers in the smooth organisation and management of doctors both before and during their appointments.

To provide cover in the absence of the other Medical Workforce team members including the Medical Workforce Officers and Administrators.

Provide routine advice and guidance on recruitment and employment matters (i.e. terms and conditions, pay, annual leave), relating to doctors within the Trust, to managers and staff of the Trust. Working within policies, guidelines and statutory requirements to influence decision making through the exchange of information in relation to medical staffing matters. Being first point of contact for telephone, face to face and email enquiries.
