Responsibilities
The Contract Performance Manager (Data & Technical Services) will be responsible for managing the performance of contracts and services to the Trusts, including:
- PACS and MES – provided by Siemens through a PFI contract with Health Care Support (North Staffordshire) Ltd (HSNS).
The PACS, MES, and Data & Technical Services are covered under the Project Agreement between the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM), Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and HSNS. This role spans across the Royal University Hospital and Haywood Hospital sites.
The Contract Performance Manager will support the Head of CPM in ensuring that HSNS, via its subcontractors Siemens, provides MES and PACS services that meet the requirements of both Trusts as outlined in the Project Agreement.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and managing the performance of the PFI service contracts, including PACS, MES, and Data Services, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled. The role also involves acting as the interface between PFI suppliers, IM&T, and Clinical Divisions, managing dependencies related to data network and communication services.
Key Task Areas
- Control the lifecycle programming of works in accordance with the PFI contract requirements.
- Monitor the performance of Siemens and Data & Technical services against service specifications and contractual commitments.
- Review and audit performance reports, analyzing complex data and interpreting options and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, providers, management teams, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Act as the point of contact for operational issues between service providers and key departments.
- Promote technological advancements, particularly AI, to enhance service performance, productivity, and cost efficiency.
