An exciting opportunity in Gastrointestinal Surgery has become available to support our Waiting List Team who are responsible for coordinating our theatre lists and booking patients in for their surgery., * The post holder will be responsible for ensuring effective co-ordination of all elective admissions, waiting lists and admission services within the service in line with national and local policy.

The post holder will need to be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can acknowledge the pressures on the medical staff to ensure that patients come in for their procedures in a timely and efficient manner.

To implement and be responsible for setting up, maintaining and monitoring our waiting lists.
In this role you will have a direct impact on patients and will involve working closely with our team of surgeons as well as other administrative staff. To be successful you would need to be a well organised and a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who enjoys working as part of a team.
