Your Impact

As a trusted specialist, you’ll provide expert moving and handling advice, training, and support to teams across the Trust. Your leadership will directly influence the health, safety, and welfare of employees, patients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring manual handling operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee the Manual Handling Service, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
  • Bariatric Care Innovation: Continue developing a sustainable Bariatric Service that benefits both the Trust and the wider health community.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the UHL Bed and Equipment Management Team to optimise patient care and resource utilisation.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse and interpret data to produce governance reports, ensuring compliance and informed strategic planning.
  • Training & Development: Design and deliver specialist training programmes that empower staff and enhance patient outcomes.
