The Pay & Pensions Department provides the In house Payroll and Pension facility for over 13500 members of staff. We process a number of weekly and monthly payrolls and produce around 120,204 payslips per annum. Our aim is to ensure all staff are paid correctly and deadlines are met and that information provided to employees and customer service is to the highest standards.
The post holder will work as part of the Admin Team to provide high quality administrative support to the Pay & Pensions Team, especially in relation to processing Timesheets and Expense Claims on a monthly basis in order to meet the Trusts payroll deadlines as well as entering data onto the Pensions on Line System. In addition you will also be required to perform standard office/clerical duties on a daily basis including data input on a bespoke Payroll/HR system called ESR., On the job training will be provided with support from other members of the team. We have a buddy system where a colleague will help and support you. An online training course is available for the Payroll System ESR as well as offsite training days if appropriate.
We are looking for an individual who is reliable and dependable, who is self-motivated, with excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills. You will have the ability to prioritise and coordinate work, act on your own initiative, have a mature attitude and a calm telephone manner.
