Position: Band 6 Hand Therapist

Location: University Hospitals Dorset (across Poole and Christchurch sites)

This role requires HCPC Registration.

Role Overview: As a Band 6 Hand Therapist, you will work closely with patients referred from orthopaedics, primary and secondary care, as well as self-referrals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for hand and upper limb conditions.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.
  • Participating in in-house training and development programs.

Requirements: To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of two years' experience working at Band 5 level.
  • Willingness to participate in 7-day working on a rota basis.
  • Ability to drive, hold a clean driver's license, and have access to a car for work purposes.
