Join the NHS as a Healthcare Support Worker at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. We offer fully supported training and a bespoke induction with mentors on the wards to support you through the care certificate and beyond.
Key Facts
- Band 3 position (applicants without required care certificate competencies will be employed as Band 2).
- Full time and part time hours available.
- 24/7 shift pattern – weekdays, weekends, nights and bank holidays – requires full flexibility.
- Permanent positions on Ward 14, Endocrine within the Medical Specialities Directorate.
- Assessment Date: TBC.
Responsibilities
Provide first‑class care to patients on inpatient wards. Work alongside caring, compassionate and inclusive teams. Support ongoing career progression to staff nurse training applications.
Qualifications
No previous experience required; we provide comprehensive training. Care certificate accreditation or ability to complete a numeracy and literacy assessment and interview is required.
