The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 Β£ per year.
We have a Fixed Term Appointment for a Cardiology Fellow. This post will give dedicated high-intensity training in cardiology and would be suitable for trainees who have at least 3-4 years of General Cardiology experience. This post may be undertaken by trainees who are already in an SpR/ST7 position (as part of an out of programme experience) or may also be suitable for trainees who have completed their CCT in Cardiology.
The post holder will spend 4-5 sessions per week undertaking cardiology outpatient clinics, providing an expected 150-200 appointments per month. The remaining sessions will be discussed at interview but will include inpatient ward rounds. We will work with you where possible to meet training needs in addition to the outpatient sessions; however, this will be dependent on experience and consultant availability for supervision.
Please note, this post is unlikely to have regular Cath Lab sessions within the job plan.
