We’re looking for an experienced registered pharmacy technician with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our Pharmacy Quality and Safety Team.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop your leadership and management skills through incident review training, trend monitoring, project improvements, and more. This role also involves work within Aseptic services, providing diverse experience. We support your training and development efforts to ensure your success.
Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you’ll help ensure continuous process review and patient safety improvements.
This role requires working on late-night, weekend, and bank holiday rotas, with flexibility in scheduling.

Your Responsibilities Will Be To
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy services in compliance with legislation, good practice, and SOPs.
- Assist the Pharmacy Quality and Safety Team in promoting medication safety and governance Trust-wide.
- Support pharmacy and nursing staff in analysing, reporting, reflecting on, and learning from medication incidents.
- Assist in the day-to-day organisation of the pharmacy aseptic preparation unit (APU), including delivery of chemotherapy and CIVAs products for both adult and paediatric patients.
- Deputise for the Deputy Lead Pharmacy Technician: Aseptic Services and Lead Pharmacy Technician: Quality and Safety.
- Support training, development, and performance management of staff to ensure high standards of service.
- Champion medication safety, supporting Pharmacy and the wider Trust.

This role requires General Pharmaceutical Council Registration.
