The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The post holder will carry out Dermatology outpatient clinics including a weekly paediatric dermatology clinic, a minor skin surgery list under senior supervision, and attend a once weekly consultant-led ward round. There will be the opportunity to assess acute Dermatology referrals on the wards and in the out-patient department. The research component of the post will comprise working with the Dermatology research team to support the running of clinical trials and other research studies in the department. There is no on call commitment. The post holder will help to provide cover for the Dermatology SpR during times of leave. Time will be allocated for Continual Professional Development in Dermatology with attendance and participation in regional and national meetings encouraged. The post holder will have an induction period at the start of the job in order to receive training in clinical dermatology and research. This post is ideally suited to those wishing to progress to higher
specialist training in Dermatology and prior experience or enthusiasm to learn about the specialty is required., This Clinical Fellow post offers the opportunity to develop clinical and research skills in Dermatology and would be ideal for anyone wishing to pursue higher specialist training in this area. The post is full time and is based in the Department of Dermatology at Poole Hospital. The role will involve providing clinical care for dermatology patients and a clinical research component for 2 days per week.
