An exciting opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse to join our well-established Gynaecology clinics team. Provide optimum quality of care to patients, offering support to the multi-professional team. Will take management responsibility for an identified area on regular shifts. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Gynaecology Outpatient team working across both University Hospital Coventry and Rugby.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
Main duties of the job:- Accountable for own actions in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct.
- Contribute to corporate objectives, acting within local, Trust and statutory guidelines and policies at all times.
- Effectively communicate information regarding clinical decisions, policy and care pathways to patients/carers and the multi-professional team including situations where difficulties in comprehension occur.
- A competent practitioner, teaching, assessing and supervising/providing mentorship to appropriate students or junior staff.
- Responsible for clinical assessment of a group of patients and management of a team, ensuring appropriate care is planned, implemented and evaluated, involving patients and users.
- Organisation of cross-departmental/organisational activities to support patient care pathways.
- General staff nurse duties within the clinic area.
