We are looking for an experienced Urology CNS to take on the role of Lead Urology CNS to provide expert clinical care and lead our Urology CNS team. The post holder will be responsible for taking a lead role in supporting the Urology Consultants in delivering the Urology services with a focus on the transformation of services within the newly built Urology Investigation Unit (UIU). The role will also be instrumental in the delivery of the Faster Diagnostic Pathway for Urology patients, ensuring the improvement of the overall patient experience and patient outcomes. The service will be responsive to challenging healthcare needs and advances in practice whilst using service improvement and quality methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Take a lead role in supporting the Urology Consultants in delivering Urology services with a focus on transformation within the UIU.
- Lead the Urology CNS team and be proactive in service improvement and quality methodology to improve patient experience and outcomes.
- Contribute to delivery of the Faster Diagnostic Pathway for Urology patients.
- Provide informed decisions and managerial responsibility for nursing service delivery across the Urology pathways both benign and cancer.
- Be responsive to challenging healthcare needs and advances in practice.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
