The role will be based at the City of Coventry Health Centre, Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry, CV1 4FS, within the Physiotherapy Department. You will be the first point of contact for patients upon arrival to the department, responsible for checking patients in, out and booking follow-up appointments. Other tasks include dealing with telephone queries, building ERS referrals from GP Surgeries, appointing, supporting the team, and providing cover for other members of staff when on leave or off sick. Utilising the Trust’s IT systems and maintaining electronic databases. You will need to prioritise tasks to achieve timescales set and meet departmental KPI’s. Working under full supervision at all times, the postholder will support trained staff in providing confidential administrative activities to meet the needs of the service in accordance with Departmental, Trust and National standards, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to day to day enquiries referring to appropriate staff as necessary.
  • Process allocated workload on a daily basis.
  • Liaise with internal departments and on occasion external agencies where required.
