Job Summary

Title: Band 3 Admin Support.
Part‑time 32.0 hours per week.
Mandatory Monday‑Wednesday 09:00‑17:00 and Friday 07:00‑17:00.
Sponsorship not eligible.

Role Overview

Provide comprehensive and accurate admin and clerical support to operational and clinical teams within our Integrated and Community Care Service (Podiatry and Community Diabetes services). Key duties include production of clinical letters, booking/rescheduling patient appointments, accurate data entry onto electronic patient records, answering complex telephone queries, minute taking, ordering. Flexibility required to cover annual leave/sickness across sites.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake surveys or audits (e.g., reception volume/traffic) as necessary and ensure other admin staff undertake these as required.
  • Complete staff surveys.
  • Frequent sitting or standing in a restricted position.
  • Word‑processing and data input (repetitive movements).
  • Work will be predominantly office based, with occasional travel to other Trust locations.
  • Predictable concentration for transcribing.
  • Check own work and pay attention to detail, especially with interruptions.
  • Typing complicated documents.
  • Work under pressure and manage stressful situations.
  • Support the team handling customer complaints, escalating formal complaints to a Band 5 Senior Admin Lead when necessary and liaising with relevant departments and agencies.
