Overview

Junior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Emergency Medicine – a vacancy at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated clinicians to join our team in the Children’s Emergency Department at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

The successful candidate will work on the SHO grade rota alongside trainees from Paediatrics, General Practice and the Foundation School.

Posts commence ASAP and are for a 6-month duration.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the initial assessment and management of acutely unwell and injured children who self-present to the Children’s Emergency Department or who are referred by their GP.
  • Work alongside the multi-disciplinary team in the Children’s Emergency Department to provide excellent care to children from our local area and around the South-West.
