As a Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for facilitating and delivering educational programs to clinical staff, including nurses, physicians, and other allied health professionals. We are also partnered with other learning providers to educate, share best practices and collaborate on initiatives.

Our simulation centres offer a safe and realistic learning environment that allows healthcare professionals to practice and perfect their clinical skills before applying them in real-life situations. This allows us to offer high-quality educational programs that improve patient outcomes and enhance the confidence and competence of our learners.

As a Clinical Educator in our team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge simulation technology, including high-fidelity mannequins and virtual reality tools, engaging with a diverse group of healthcare professionals. You will also have access to ongoing professional development opportunities, including training in simulation education and research, Advanced Life Support Course and sponsorship for PG Cert. in Education.

You will be part of a team that is dedicated to enhancing the skills and knowledge of our healthcare professionals, improving patient outcomes and helping us to shape the future of healthcare education

Main duties of the job

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the Trust exercising specialist knowledge in the field of core clinical skills and simulation-based education.

With support from Senior Educators, ensure education provided is:

*Competency and skills based

*Meets Core standards and Clinical Governance criteria

*Meets national standards required

*Is current and evidence based

*Are designed in response to the needs of patients, staff and local healthcare providers

Act as a resource for clinical supervisors within the clinical areas to ensure that they are up to date with current policy and procedures in specified clinical skills.

Develop training outlines, session plans, learning objectives, competency statements and visual aids ensuring a consistent approach to training is implemented and delivered across the Trust to all commissioners & users of the service.

Plan methodology of training delivery that is appropriate to specific staff groups as well as multi-disciplinary audience

Liaise with clinical experts to review the content of training programmes on a regular basis.
