We are looking for a kind, caring person to join our community admin team. You will be the first point of contact for patients and health professionals referring patients into the District Nurses and Speciality Community services. The successful candidate should have excellent Communication and IT skills, and ideally some experience of working in a healthcare setting. Community services have 12 members of admin and you will become part of this supportive team who work hard to support patients and families access healthcare in their homes. Community services covers Solihull and North Birmingham. The trust values are Kind, Connected and Bold and we are looking for an individual who will embody these values in their attitude and approach to their work and customer service., Receiving Referrals from Wards and Local GP/Healthcare professionals

Scanning and uploading documents to patient admin systems

Email management and communication with healthcare professionals

First point of contact for patients and their relatives over the phone

Liaising with nursing colleagues to escalate tasks or visit requests.

Reviewing waiting lists

Booking appointments.

Confirming visit information

Scanning/Filing

Receiving and storing stock

contributing to team meetings and support service development/improvements

Training and support of others
