Main duties of the job
The Princess Anne Hospital-Theatres are delighted to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Practitioner to lead our team of theatre Practitioners and Healthcare Support Workers to continuously deliver a world class, high standard of care to our patients. We would require the successful candidate to have the relevant clinical expertise and experience and be able to manage the required administrative and managerial responsibilities.

We are looking for a compassionate and caring individual who has a strong background and experience in Theatres and is highly organised with good communication skills, passionate about patient care and safety, can excel and inspire the team to work together and deliver the highest standard of care that we can provide.
The successful candidate will be given appropriate leadership and developmental opportunities to lead the service to achieve excellence in the delivery of care.

- Registered ODP / nurse
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience
- Experience at band 6 level
- Provide evidence of Leading learning in practice
- Provide evidence of Support colleagues to promote learning in practice providing an excellent learning environment for all
- Provide evidence of Supporting /managing and supervision a range of learnings in practice
- Aware of current NHS and professional issues
- Ability to network and build relationships within and across professions
- Experience of developing nursing and allied health profession / perioperative practice
- Appropriate Specialist qualification
- Evidence of Formal Management Training
