An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Technical Tutor in Computer Games Design to join our dedicated technical team.
Qualifications
- Experience working with C++, C#, and version control systems such as Git, Azure Repos, or Plastic SCM.
- Strong background with Adobe applications including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and the Substance Suite.
- Proficiency with VR/AR hardware and software, and digital sculpting tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate game development software to learners of varying abilities, focusing on tools such as Maya, Unity, and Unreal.
- Guide, support, and advise students in the use of computer games design software and interactive 3D environments.
- Induct students through practical demonstrations into the safe and responsible use of the workspace and any associated equipment or machinery.
- Support the care and maintenance of equipment, ensuring health and safety standards are upheld.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
