University for the Creative Arts UCA is recruiting three post-doctoral Research Impact Associates to deliver innovative, ambitious, socially engaged and commercially targeted impact activities that translate the University’s research into change in the world beyond academia.
Responsibilities
- Work with UCA’s academic researchers to capture, document and amplify the impact they are creating through research and collaborations.
- Implement strategies for collecting robust evidence of impact.
- Deliver events and activities to accelerate future developments.
- Collaborate with fellow RIAs to explore cross-cutting themes and methods for impact design and evaluation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post‑doctoral researcher with understanding of impact arising from arts and humanities research.
- Experience connecting research to industry, business, public and cultural sector partners.
- Experience with collaborative, practice‑based or participatory research with non‑academic partners and stakeholders.
Role Details
These fixed‑term roles are funded by the UCA’s AHRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA). 6 months fixed‑term, 0.8 FTE. Closing date 5th July 2026.
