Our award-winning Australian Taxation Office (ATO) Graduate Program offers opportunities for graduates from various fields including data, IT, accounting, commerce, law, design, HR, and communications. Graduates can be part of a team that combats crime and fraud, creates and delivers programs to support the community, and protects the data of millions of people.

What you’ll do:
A career in numbers? Makes sense at the ATO. As a taxation graduate, you’ll get an opportunity to help manage and shape one of the best tax and super administration systems in the world. You’ll work on projects of national importance that directly contribute to funding critical infrastructure. You’ll get the opportunity to experience a range of client engagement activities including:
- provide expertise on policy, procedures, legislation, and frameworks to resolve complex issues
- conduct and support client engagement activities, including early engagements, verifications, risk reviews, audits, and advice on client obligations
- liaise professionally with clients or intermediaries on sensitive issues to influence outcomes, obtain information, and provide advice through various channels
- review and research business processes to recommend and implement more efficient outcomes
- contribute to projects, strategies, and initiatives that support and deliver assurance
- conduct quality assurance activities and develop strategies to address findings within established guidelines
