We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and reliable Casual Kids Football Coach to join our team on Saturday mornings. The successful candidate will deliver fun, structured and age-appropriate football sessions to children aged 4–11. The main objective is to foster a safe, positive and inclusive environment where young players can build confidence, develop fundamental football skills, stay active and enjoy the game. Session Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate drills, physical games and mini-matches tailored to different age groups, including 4–7 and 8–11 years. Child Engagement: Create an encouraging and inclusive environment for children of all abilities and skill levels. Parent Communication: Act as a friendly point of contact for parents and guardians, providing brief, positive updates on children's progress and answering general questions. FA Level 1 Football Coaching Qualification, or equivalent. Safeguarding Children Certificate. Experience coaching or working with young children, such as through sports coaching, teaching, childcare or youth work. Ability to successfully complete an Enhanced DBS check. Strong understanding of basic football fundamentals and physical literacy for children. A hands-on problem-solver with a positive attitude towards youth sports and activities. Able to project enthusiasm and maintain a fun, energetic environment for young children. Skilled at encouraging hesitant young children and managing varied behaviour calmly and positively.
