University College is seeking an experienced, proactive and efficient PA to provide high-level administrative support to the Finance Bursar. This is an exciting role where the post-holder will often be the first point of contact for enquirers of the Bursary and will engage at all levels within the College, University and wider community.
The role provides essential support to a senior officer of the College. It is varied and demands adaptability across a wide range of tasks. You will be confident in working in an independent and self-managed capacity handling a workload frequently with tight deadlines, for which sound assessment and prioritisation is required before determining the best course of action.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in a PA role at a senior executive level, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills, the ability to multi-task, filter information, and juggle with shifting priorities. Demonstrable skills in the exercise of judgement, tact and diplomacy are essential.
In addition, the highest degree of discretion is expected at all times as you will have access to confidential information and documentation, and to sensitive personal information about staff, donors, alumni and other members of the College. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and diary management is essential.
