The predicted salary is between 19200 - 33600 £ per year.

Full time (35 hrs/wk), fixed term for 12 months. Split place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home. Salary £24,000 pa plus benefits.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter to join our busy and lively Admissions and Enquiries Team. As an Apprenticeships Officer, you will assist with the apprentice onboarding process, completing administrative tasks such as sign-up documentation and other apprenticeship-specific tasks. You will work closely with apprentice employers, building good working relationships and offering advice when needed. This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone looking to expand their skillset within the Education sector, where you will be involved with various projects during an exciting and busy time for UCEM.

Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Be the first point of contact for apprenticeship enquiries and referrals via phone and emails.
  • Process apprenticeship student enrolment and registration documentation and resolve any queries which may arise.
  • Evaluate employer applications for eligibility to deliver the required knowledge, skills and behaviours.
  • Draw up apprenticeship sign-up documents where appropriate, including training plans and written agreements.

Our main requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English Language Grade C or 4 or above (or equivalent).
  • Administration experience in an office-based environment.
  • Customer service experience (face-to-face, via email and on the telephone).
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
