Administrator (Built Environment Futures Assembly)

Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA) is a newly established initiative that aims to have a positive impact on shaping the built environment. We are seeking a proactive individual to support BEFAs diverse activities, connecting with internal and external stakeholders and offering vital administrative support.

Day to day, you will undertake core administrative duties such as scheduling key meetings, organising and reporting on events, coordinating diaries and travel arrangements, and supporting with various initiatives. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the built environment and higher education sectors, ensuring the smooth running of BEFA.

Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Schedule, arrange and minute key meetings including Strategic Advisory Board and Workstream sessions, including preparation of agendas, joining instructions and minutes
  • Maintain and manage customer relationship management engagement
  • Assist with tasks on related projects and activities, aligned with BEFAs objectives
  • Executive and events support for national INSPIRE workshop programmes, including speaker co-ordination, venue booking and logistics

Our main requirements:

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in administrative roles, including managing schedules, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes
  • Ability to work effectively to strict deadlines and prioritise workload accordingly
