Within ISD, this role is part of the IT Service Operations department which manages the infrastructure, data platforms and enterprise applications which underpin UCL's central IT services.As part of a team your role will be to help deliver our enterprise messaging and collaboration services based on Microsoft 365. You will be providing technical support and using your knowledge and experience delivering ongoing service improvement, focussing on Exchange, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and the Office 365 platformYou will also be communicating with stakeholders assisting with integrations and provide subject expertise when required. Everything in this service is performed at scale therefore there is considerable use of PowerShell and other automation techniques to maintain the service.*Please note the JD states the need for experience in Cisco and Siemens; this is no longer a requirement*About youYou will have in-depth recent experience of administrating Microsoft 365 including Exchange within in a complex and large-scale environment. You will be capable of owning and managing the end-to-end process of ‘change’. From gathering requirements, conceptual design, impact analysis and technical implementation. Spatial awareness of operational impact, support and training is a must.You will also have experience of administrating SharePoint and Teams, with an additional emphasis on information security and compliance concerns. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to lead technical change, take ownership of issues and problems and advise the product owner and team members.
