About us

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Programme Grant Coordinator to support the EPSRC-funded Programme Grant: Fundamental Science in the Age of Quantum Computation (FSQ). FSQ is an ambitious five-year, multi-institutional research programme bringing together world-leading researchers from UCL, Cambridge, Leeds, Nottingham and Oxford, together with international academic and industrial partners including Google, IBM and Quantinuum. The programme aims to understand the fundamental limits of classical and quantum computation, develop new algorithms for both classical and quantum computers, and harness these advances to transform discovery science. The Programme Grant Coordinator will play a central role in ensuring the successful delivery of this nationally significant research programme. The postholder will work closely with the Programme Lead and investigators across all partner institutions to establish and manage the administrative, financial and governance structures necessary to support the Programme’s research, networking, impact and outreach.

The London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN) is an interdisciplinary enterprise between University College London, King’s College London and Imperial College London. In bringing together world-class infrastructure and leading nanotechnology research activities, the Centre aims to attain the critical mass to compete with the best facilities abroad. The LCN has strong relationships with the broader nanotechnology and commercial communities. As the world’s only such facility to be located in the heart of a metropolis, the LCN has superb access to corporate, investment and industrial partners. It is at the forefront of training in nanotechnology and has a strong media presence aimed at educating the public and bringing transparency to this emerging science.
