Overview

In this role you will support governance and benefits management across a diverse programme and project portfolio. You report to the Assistant Director - Performance, coordinating governance processes, committee workflows and high-quality senior stakeholder reporting. You will help identify, track and report benefits throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining registers and analysing performance data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. This is a pivotal role for shaping benefit-led delivery in a complex, public-sector environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate governance processes and committee workflows
  • Monitor actions and ensure timely, high-quality reporting for senior stakeholders
  • Support benefits management across projects: identify, define, track and report benefits
  • Maintain benefits registers and analyse performance data
  • Support post-implementation reviews and provide insights to inform decisions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best-practice governance

Key requirements

  • Experience in governance, benefits management, performance reporting or similar analytical role in a complex organisation
  • Stakeholder engagement across multiple levels and strong relationship-building
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, proactive ownership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; ability to analyse data and present insights
  • Power BI experience and public-sector or large, complex environment familiarity (advantageous)
