Join UCL CCTU as a Clinical Trial Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of a CTIMP, ensuring GCP compliance and regulatory standards.

You will work closely with Chief Investigators, sponsors, trial sites, and external partners to coordinate study activities and timelines.

The role emphasizes quality, governance, and risk management, with travel for on-site monitoring across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day delivery of a CTIMP trial
  • Ensure full compliance with GCP, regulatory requirements and approved protocol
  • Coordinate study activities with Chief Investigators, sponsors, trial locations and external partners
  • Oversee quality governance and risk management for the trial
  • Conduct on-site monitoring visits across trial locations in the UK
  • Support trial set-up, initiation and ongoing conduct
  • Report progress against timelines to the Clinical Project Manager
  • Key requirements
  • Proven experience as a Clinical Trial Manager on CTIMPs
  • In-depth knowledge of ICH GCP, UK clinical trial regulations, European Clinical Trials legislation, and DH Research Governance Framework
  • Experience managing multi-centre trials within NHS, academic, or sponsor environments
  • Experience with IMP management and accountability
  • Experience conducting on-site monitoring, site initiation and routine monitoring
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple priorities and complex stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with Chief Investigators, site staff, and external vendors
  • Willingness and ability to travel across UK trial locations
