Our work connects the knowledge and expertise within UCL with organisations, communities and partners beyond the university, helping to create meaningful economic and social benefit.You will join a specialist team supporting UCL’s Knowledge Exchange and Innovation (KEI) ambitions, working with colleagues across Research, Innovation and Global Engagement (RIGE) and the wider university.About the roleAs Knowledge Exchange Programme Officer, you will support the development, delivery and continuous improvement of programmes and initiatives that build UCL’s capacity for knowledge exchange and innovation.Working closely with the Knowledge Exchange Programme Manager and colleagues across UCL, you will coordinate programmes, initiatives and events, helping to increase engagement and awareness of knowledge exchange opportunities across the university. You will play an important role in bringing people together, coordinating working groups and delivery teams, and turning stakeholder insight and feedback into practical recommendations.You will also develop and deliver training, presentations, guidance and other resources that help colleagues build their knowledge exchange capability. This will include managing and enhancing UCL’s internal KEI SharePoint and associated knowledge resources, as well as researching and benchmarking sector developments to support continuous improvement.Communication and stakeholder engagement will be central to the role. You will develop clear and engaging communications, build effective networks across UCL and help promote a culture of engagement, innovation and continuous improvement.You will also use data, feedback and insight to monitor programme outcomes and evaluate impact, preparing reports, papers and presentations for senior leaders and contributing to institutional reporting requirements, including KEF, KEC and HEIF.This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, proactive and collaborative professional who enjoys working across teams and turning ideas into effective programmes, resources and initiatives that make a difference.About youWe are looking for someone with experience of supporting or delivering programmes, projects, initiatives or events within a complex organisation. You will have experience of developing or delivering training, resources or guidance, alongside the ability to bring together information and stakeholder views to produce clear reports, briefings and recommendations.You will be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and confident working with a wide range of stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to create engaging content and deliver presentations to different audiences.You will be digitally confident, with experience of developing SharePoint sites or similar knowledge-sharing tools, and comfortable analysing and interpreting data to identify insights and support decision-making. You will be proactive and adaptable, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to take initiative, solve problems and adjust your approach when needed.You will also demonstrate UCL’s Ways of Working, including making best practice an absolute priority, documenting and sharing solutions, and anticipating issues and adjusting approaches where necessary.A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
