UCL now seeks an outstanding Treasurer to provide strategic financial leadership within its governance structure. As Chair of the Finance Committee and a member of Council, the Treasurer will play a pivotal role in overseeing the University’s financial sustainability, investment strategy, treasury activities and long-term stewardship of resources. Working closely with the Chair of Council, the Provost and fellow committee chairs, the Treasurer will help ensure that UCL remains financially resilient while continuing to invest in its academic mission and future ambitions.
This appointment offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the governance of one of the world’s great universities at a time of significant opportunity and change. The Treasurer will guide discussions on major financial decisions, capital investment, estate development and institutional sustainability, providing both support and constructive challenge as UCL navigates an increasingly complex financial and regulatory environment.
