UCLH is looking for a project manager to play a strong role in taking forward the strategic development of outpatients and administration, which are top priorities for the Trust in the coming years. In response to the NHS 10 year plan as well as UCLH’s current strategy refresh, the Trust needs to continually rethink the way our services are organised, implement new outpatient models of care and to make a significant update to our administration systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of UCLH and support the Executive Board in delivering its transformation vision for a world class hospital.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who displays a passion for excellence in NHS services and has strong project experience in a large, complex secondary care environment. You will have experience delivering programmes of change and transformation.

Main duties of the job

  • Create and manage the plan to enhance functionality for patients and staff using MyCare, working with Digital Healthcare to increase core functionality.
  • Work on a number of operationally critical projects related to transformation of outpatient and other services at UCLH.
  • Successfully implement allocated projects and initiatives, which deliver the planned benefits in accordance with the programme targets.
  • Work collaboratively across the Trust to devise strategies and recommendations to deliver improvements in Trust-wide outpatients (and where applicable administration and other services), identifying improvement opportunities and seeing these through the project lifecycle, project initiation, delivery, mobilisation and review.
