An exciting 6-month secondment opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our Strategy Directorate to lead and manage delivery of vital projects and programmes at UCLH. The post will cover a sixth month secondment.

The Strategy Directorate oversees all key strategic programmes including, but not exclusive of, new hospital building developments, clinical service developments and redesign and joint collaborations with other local health and care partners.

Main duties of the job:

  • Working closely with clinical and corporate colleagues, you will play an important role in designing and leading some of our most critical programmes and projects.
  • As an experienced manager, you will demonstrate the ability to deliver complex projects in a co-productive and collaborative manner with our wide range of internal stakeholders and partner organisations.
  • Day to day duties will include facilitation of workstream meetings, project plan development, identification and mitigation of project risks and delivery of key elements of each specific programme to agreed timeframes.
  • The ability to build relationships and credibility with a wide range of stakeholders will be key to success in this role.
  • The portfolio for the successful candidate will be discussed following successful recruitment as portfolios are dynamic and change to fit the needs of the organisation.
