Applications are invited for the post of Admin Coordinator at University College London Hospitals based at Westmoreland Street Hospital. The ideal candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic, with a passion for high-quality patient care, and the ability to work under pressure as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This role is responsible for coordinating the cystectomy pathway and ensuring patients are booked promptly. The successful candidate must have experience working as an administrator in an NHS or private organization, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to follow instructions from multiple sources. Main duties of the job:

  • Coordinating patients through the cystectomy pathway, ensuring outpatient appointments and surgical admissions are scheduled promptly according to clinical guidance.
  • Booking patients within tight timeframes, maintaining oversight of demand and capacity.
  • Flexibility to cover other team members as needed is essential.
  • Suggesting improvements to enhance service quality and evaluating these collaboratively with your team leader.
  • Creating and validating record-keeping processes.
  • Working closely with the UroOncology admin and clinical teams to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with cancer waiting time targets.
