The Admin Co-ordinator role offers an exciting opportunity to join our administration team in the Endoscopy Unit, which provides first-class administration and reception services to the Division. As part of our Patient Pathway team, you will be responsible for tracking patients through their care pathways, organising patient appointments, and processing clinical correspondence in a timely manner. You will act as a key support point for the Clinical Nurse Endoscopists by assisting with administrative tasks. Successful candidates will have previous administration experience and either experience working in an NHS organisation or a desire to work within a healthcare setting. They should be able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and possess excellent team working, negotiation, and organisational skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and take responsibility for patient pathways within their designated sub-specialty areas.
  • Manage day case admissions within the Endoscopy Unit.
  • Serve as the primary contact point between the multidisciplinary team, patients, and relatives.
  • Provide advice and support for troubleshooting non-routine matters or resolving initial complaints.
  • Support clinical and administrative teams to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Provide cross-cover for administrative areas across the Division to maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
