A vacancy at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a motivated and enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The role covers maternity leave of the current post holder for 12 months, responsible for the delivery of pharmacy services to neurology, neurosurgery and adult metabolic services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and develop clinical pharmacy services in accordance with objectives agreed with the Queen Square Principal Pharmacist and Divisional Leads.
- Act as a clinical role model to junior staff, providing professional leadership, support and guidance in clinical practice.
- Work as part of the broader clinical pharmacy team and contribute to local and national initiatives to develop and enhance the pharmacy service and medicines management across the Trust.
- Contribute to the delivery of educational and developmental programmes, including the Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice and the rotational programme for band 7 clinical pharmacists.
