We are looking for bright and enthusiastic pharmacists, with the motivation to develop their clinical knowledge and skills in practice, to join our development programme for clinical pharmacists. The programme includes year-long rotations through areas such as acute medicine, elderly care and long-term conditions, gastroenterology, critical care, urology, thoracic surgery, neurosciences, hyperacute stroke, HIV and sexual health, and women’s health including neonates.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, applying therapeutics knowledge to ensure safe and effective medication for patients both inpatient and outpatient.
- Gather and process relevant information from electronic health records (Epic) to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Support tertiary services and engage in cutting‑edge practice in rapidly evolving diagnostic and therapeutic areas.
- Participate in reporting and analysis of medicines expenditure, budget planning for high‑cost drugs, project management, clinical governance, and other general management roles.
- Contribute to the clinical supervision of multi‑professional undergraduate students and the mentorship of trainee pharmacists and postgraduate diploma students.
- Support implementation of pharmacy initiatives and participate in audit and clinical research projects.
