A qualified and experienced clinical physiologist in the field of neurophysiology will provide top-class service with patient centred care and plan and use complex neurophysiological studies at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Key responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team of seven clinical physiologists, supervising junior staff and performing tests independently.
- Plan and perform complex neurophysiological studies, including video-EEG telemetry, routine, prolonged and sleep-deprived EEGs with video, ambulatory EEGs, home video-telemetry studies and a limited number of PSGs.
- Participate in ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings and teaching sessions with the immediate neurophysiology team and wider medical team.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism with patients, the neurophysiology team and the wider medical team at Chalfont.
- Take responsibility for own work and that of less experienced colleagues, ensuring integrity and completeness.
- Provide services within the trust’s values of safety, kindness, teamwork and continuous improvement of the neurophysiology service.
Working patterns:
- Work 37.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday.
- Infrequent weekend cover in 7.5-hour shifts between 08:30 – 18:00.
