As the Fire Safety Awareness Trainer, you will be responsible for leading the practical skills training on fire safety agenda, ensuring all our staff are provided with training appropriate to their role. By enhancing the education offering within the Trust, you will make a valuable contribution to patient, staff and visitor experience and safety. You will be an expert in the field of fire safety, and you will contribute significantly to the development of the fire safety programme. You will design and deliver a fire warden, fire evacuation and fire response teams education programme that supports patient and staff safety and experience. Work collaboratively with clinical leads and department managers to equitably roll out fire safety practical skills training in clinical and non-clinical areas. Provide professional fire safety training advice and support for staff in the workplace. Identify and address opportunities for shared learning resulting from incidents and complaints. Link with professional leads across London and nationally to develop fire safety awareness training.
