This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in both a training and digital healthcare role to support our Electronic Health Record (Epic) system which went live in April 2019. We are looking for a skilled, experienced and enthusiastic Senior EHR Adoption Analyst to join our EHR Team.
Main duties of the job
This role is being introduced to work on the Patient Self Scheduling Programme across the organisation with a dedicated team of analysts and trainers. The EHR Senior Adoption Analyst is responsible for identifying adoption issues within Epic at a departmental/service level and to work closely with the training team and build team to put appropriate solutions in place to enhance staff experience of Epic. This is an important role, requiring the post holder to work in partnership with the Head of Training, Adoption & Communities and application teams across EHR.

Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to Masters level or equivalent through experience and professional development.
- Higher professional clinical or management degree or equivalent (or in exceptional circumstances – able to demonstrate significant level of equivalent experience).
- Highly specialist knowledge across a wide range of subject areas relating to EHRS and digital services including holding Epic certification.
- Good knowledge and understanding of patient pathways and flow.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Relevant project management or improvement experience, with a track record of delivery.
- Experience of designing and executing change programmes while also developing and maintaining high standards of quality.
- A proven success in business planning and in the development and effective implementation of strategic plans.
- Experience of leading and managing a team, with excellent coaching skills.
- Knowledge/Experience of operational use of Epic.
Desirable criteria
- Experience of design, build, configuration and testing within Epic applications.
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- The ability to work unsupervised and plan project work to agreed timescales to meet deadlines. This will require an ability to effectively delegate work and monitor progress.
- Proficient in the use of IT tools for analytical and presentational purposes to present detailed reports that can be understood by a wide audience.
