An exciting opportunity has arisen at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) to join the Proton Beam Therapy Team from August 2026 as a Clinical Fellow.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced radiotherapy planning for patients receiving proton therapy.
- Conduct on‑treatment reviews and robust collection of clinical outcomes.
- Engage with clinical trials and review/audit of the evolving service.
- Attend outpatient clinics, multidisciplinary team meetings and PBT planning meetings.
- Follow patients through their PBT treatment course, including initial assessment, radiotherapy pre‑assessment, planning and treatment review.
- Learn and manage the clinical differences between proton beam therapy and photon treatments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Suitable for a clinical oncology trainee seeking experience to augment their programmed clinical training.
- Responsibility to the Clinical Lead for Proton Beam Therapy.
- Desirable to possess FRCR.
