An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly specialist Audiologist or Clinical Scientist to join UCLH as Audiology Professional Manager (Paediatric Auditory Implants) on a 12‑month fixed‑term post to cover maternity leave.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will lead the Paediatric Auditory Implant Audiology Service, providing advanced clinical expertise in assessment, programming and rehabilitation of paediatric cochlear implant users. The role involves managing a complex caseload, providing professional leadership to the team, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centred care in line with national and international standards, and responsible for staff management, service planning, clinical governance, and driving innovation through research, audit and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Paediatric Auditory Implant Audiology Service.
- Provide advanced clinical expertise in assessment, programming and rehabilitation of paediatric cochlear implant users.
- Manage complex caseloads and provide professional leadership to the team.
