The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Student Engagement Officer to join our Student Support and Wellbeing Directorate, who are at the forefront of student support, providing a high-quality advice, guidance and signposting. The team helps students navigate and overcome difficulties in order to improve their performance, achieve their goals and have a positive experience of Higher Education as well as creating a sense of belonging to UCB.
Based in the Student Engagement and Success team, the postholder will engage with students and staff to help create an inclusive environment within the University, working on specific activities aligned with various initiatives, such as the University Mental Health Charter, the University's Access and Participation Plan, as well as our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy.
The successful candidate will:
- Design and deliver innovative engagement initiatives that support student success and wellbeing.
- Coordinate communications and promotional campaigns, including a monthly newsletter for HE students.
