Job Description

The Engineering team is seeking to recruit a Teaching Support Officer (TSO) to support the day-to-day operation and effective running of our well-equipped Engineering workshops.

The ideal candidate will have a sound general knowledge of the Engineering industry, a practical and proactive approach, and a positive “can-do” attitude. They will play an important role in supporting the teaching team and helping to maintain a safe, engaging and immersive learning environment in which our students can develop their practical skills, confidence and industry knowledge.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career within further education. Working closely with experienced teaching staff will provide valuable insight into the teaching and learning environment and could provide a potential stepping stone towards a future teaching role.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Engineering team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
