Due to continued growth and expansion we are recruiting for a full-time Lecturer to join us on a permanent basis. The Health and Social Care Department offers a range of courses including GCSE 14-16 Programme, level 1-3 Health and Social Care courses, and a T-level in Health and Adult Counselling at our Wisbech Campus. We are growing as a team and as a provision and plan to include apprenticeships during the next Academic year with more to come in the future.

Whether you have a teaching background or are a Health or Social Care professional in industry, we would love to hear from you. This is an exciting and challenging role working with learners seeking to forge a career in health or social care. We have close links with NHS and healthcare providers across the region, enabling us to design and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of local communities. If you do not have a teaching qualification, we will support you to achieve this through our teacher development programme.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a curriculum across GCSE 14-16 Programme and level 1-3 Health and Social Care courses, including T-levels where applicable.
- Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with local community needs and industry links, including NHS and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support learners’ personal and professional development.
- Engage in teacher development to obtain or upgrade teaching qualifications as required.
- Support flexible working arrangements and consider job share where appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified health and social care professional with interest in teaching and curriculum delivery.
- Teaching qualifications or a commitment to achieve them through the college development programme.
- Ability to work with learners aiming to pursue careers in health and social care and to collaborate with local healthcare partners.
