Overview: CWA delivers motor vehicle vocational courses from Level 1 to Level 3 at the Kings Lynn campus. Students have access to industry‑recognised facilities, top‑of‑the‑range diagnostic tools, new MOT testing equipment and a range of training rigs, including electric vehicle equipment. The ideal candidate is a skilled technician with experience in the motor vehicle industry.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum for Levels 1–3 motor vehicle courses.
- Mentor and support students through both practical and theoretical learning.
- Use diagnostic tools, MOT equipment and electric vehicle resources to demonstrate skills.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of course content and teaching resources.
- Participate in departmental meetings and help build a supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Practical teaching or vocational training experience in the motor vehicle industry.
- Level 5 teaching qualification preferred; appointments at pay point 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) require a Level 5 qualification.
- Strong knowledge of current diagnostic, MOT, and electric vehicle standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching, safeguarding and welfare processes.
