Salary: £31,904 - £40,233 per annum

Overview: CWA delivers motor vehicle vocational courses from Level 1 to Level 3 at the Kings Lynn campus. Students have access to industry‑recognised facilities, top‑of‑the‑range diagnostic tools, new MOT testing equipment and a range of training rigs, including electric vehicle equipment. The ideal candidate is a skilled technician with experience in the motor vehicle industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum for Levels 1–3 motor vehicle courses.
  • Mentor and support students through both practical and theoretical learning.
  • Use diagnostic tools, MOT equipment and electric vehicle resources to demonstrate skills.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of course content and teaching resources.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and help build a supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Practical teaching or vocational training experience in the motor vehicle industry.
  • Level 5 teaching qualification preferred; appointments at pay point 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) require a Level 5 qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of current diagnostic, MOT, and electric vehicle standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive teaching, safeguarding and welfare processes.
