Due to changes in funding and hours of learning for English, we have a number of new roles available.

  • Position: English Lecturer
  • Location: Kings Lynn and Kings Lynn/Wisbech
  • Hours: 18.5‑30 hours per week at Kings Lynn; full‑time at Kings Lynn/Wisbech.
  • Salary: £31,904 – £40,233 FTE (pro rata for part‑time).

Our English team works with our learners to enable them to achieve their potential through the delivery of Functional Skills and GCSE lessons. Learners are often enrolled on other college courses and may feel anxious about their abilities. This role provides an opportunity to help learners develop an understanding and love for English, including how to apply principles in relation to their course and everyday lives.

Qualifications: Salary points are determined based on experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments normally are not made at Level 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) without a Level 5 teaching qualification and relevant experience.
