Responsibilities
- Deliver Functional Skills and GCSE Maths lessons to learners, many of whom are also enrolled in other college courses.
- Support learners in developing an understanding and love of maths, including applying principles to their courses and everyday lives.
- Collaborate with the maths team to maintain high quality teaching and learning opportunities.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance teaching practice.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 5 teaching qualification (required for appointment above point 12). Appointment normally not made at point 12 or above without this qualification.
- Experience in teaching Maths at the GCSE or functional skills level.
- Strong commitment to supporting learners’ attainment and confidence.
